Megan Weiss is the executive director of Ethics, Monitoring, & Compliance Program Solutions for Raytheon, a business of RTX. She oversees four teams (the Global Ethics Office, Risk Monitoring and Analytics, ATF Compliance, and GEC Program Solutions) and is focused on bringing together the various parts of the whole organization into a cohesive and proactive Global Ethics & Compliance (GEC) program. Weiss also provides support to the ethics and compliance officers at the various international landed companies at Raytheon that include organizations in UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdon.
Before her current role, Weiss was the lead of the Global Ethics Office (GEO) at Raytheon responsible for reinforcing Raytheon’s commitment to acting with integrity by building an Ethics program focused on empowering all employees to model the guiding principles and Values in the Code of Conduct to promote a Speak Up culture and achieve business goals. Prior to that, Weiss was the lead of the Ethics team at the former Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) business that included the same scope as the GEO team, and involved responsibility for conducting investigations into allegations of misconduct or policy violations. Prior to that, Weiss was a member of the RI&S Ethics leadership team supporting the merger between Raytheon Company and United Technologies Corporation. Before the merger, Weiss was Ethics director for Space and Airborne Systems, contracts manager for Raytheon Technologies’ Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite program and held Contracts positions in three former businesses at Raytheon Company.
She is a graduate of Raytheon’s Leadership Development Program, achieved Raytheon’s Earned Value Management Certificate Level 2 and completed the Ethics & Compliance Initiative Leadership Professional certification program. She represents RTX on the Defense Industry Initiative on Business Ethics and Conduct (DII) Working Group and is a member of the Ethics Compliance Initiative (ECI). She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego and completed her junior year of college in Lyon, France.
