As the Director of Ethics, Human Resources and Privacy for General Dynamics Corporate Headquarters (CHQ), Hubbard monitors General Dynamics global ethics program and provides updates to senior leadership, including the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. She serves as the lead for General Dynamic (GD) audits and provides assistance to the business units (BUs) on the centralized components of the GD ethics program. In addition, Hubbard assist CHQ senior leadership in the creation and implementation of Human Resources strategy and works with various disciplines to ensure CHQ's Privacy program is successful and fully operational.
Prior to joining CHQ, Hubbard was the Director of Staffing and Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS). At GDMS, she led a team of 30 staffing professionals responsible for delivering highly cleared technical talent nationwide while transforming the traditional staffing process into a more strategic function, offering employees career development, succession planning and rotational opportunities to increase engagement and retention while reducing the time to onboard critical talent needed to contribute to GDMS and our customers' mission. As HRBP, she provided HR support and guidance to multiple functions within GDMS.
Before joining General Dynamics, Hubbard worked for Computer Sciences Corporation and Northrop Grumman Corporation.
Maria possesses a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Management. She has been with General Dynamics for 17 years.
