Karina is Vice President, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer of Amentum. Karina is responsible for leading Amentum’s Ethics and Compliance program, which includes management of Amentum’s ethics hotline, internal investigations, Code of Conduct, anti-bribery, data privacy, and anti-human trafficking programs. Prior to Amentum, Karina was Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of PAE, a company that Amentum acquired in 2022. Prior to PAE, Karina served as Senior Legal and Compliance Counsel at Tata Communications, and was based out of their Herndon, VA and Singapore offices. Prior to Tata Communications, Karina practiced public interest law for seven years, representing domestic violences and human trafficking victims in their family law, protection order, and immigration cases.
Outside of her day job, Karina participates as a member of the DII Social Media Sub-Committee, co-chairs the Ethics and Compliance Committee of the National Capital Region’s chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC NCR), and is a Fellow in this year’s ACC NCR Leadership Academy. Karina grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia and Southern California, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, and her law degree from Boston University. She currently lives in Fairfax, VA with her husband, Derek, their 15-year-old daughter, Dewi, their 12-year-old son, Desmond, and their two dogs, Soto (a rescue from Puerto Rico) and Nola (a rescue from New Orleans).
