Senior Manager, Risk Monitoring & Integration Strategy, The Boeing Company

Karen is the senior manager of Risk Monitoring & Integration Strategy for Boeing Ethics. The Risk Monitoring team is responsible for continuous monitoring of systemic and localized patterns of noncompliance and misconduct across the enterprise and promptly communicating emerging risk areas and systems failures to Global Compliance leaders for escalation to enterprise stakeholders. The team also supports and ensures alignment with Ethics' Global Compliance partners as well as increasing integration and collaboration on priorities and activities across Ethics. In addition, Karen provides strategic counsel to Ethics' Business Engagement team. Karen was recently an Ethics Business Engagement senior manager as well as a temporary senior manager in Ethics Operations. She also led externally and internally to further industry best practices related to supplier ethics and compliance programs. Karen joined Boeing in 2013 as an ethics advisor. She served as a subject matter expert in business courtesies and conflicts of interest. Karen has 15+ years of compliance and ethics experience in industries spanning health care, aerospace, and defense. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor and Health Law Certificate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Karen is licensed to practice law in Washington State.
