Jim Kennell

James S. Kennell. Jim Kennell is Senior Vice President & General Counsel for the Intelligence Group of Leidos. He provides legal support in the areas of national security law, Government and commercial contracts, general litigation, internal investigations and compliance-related matters. He is a member of the American Bar Association Public Contract Law Section, the ABA Standing Committee on Law & National Security, the Intelligence and National Security Alliance Legal Affairs Roundtable and the National Defense Industry Association, and is also a past chair of the NDIA Procurement Division’s Legal Committee. Prior to joining Leidos (then SAIC) in the Fall of 2000, Jim practiced with the law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in its Washington, DC office. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois (B.A. 1987), and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D. 1990).
