David Martell

Dave is the Director of Global Trade Compliance at Oshkosh Corporation in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Dave leads the Global Export Controls Shared Services Group which has enterprise-wide responsibility for providing export licensing, sanctions, and compliance services. Dave has been with Oshkosh for over 17 years and prior to that was with JP Morgan Chase Global Trade Services, and The Department of Commerce; Export Assistance Center. With over 20 years experience in trade compliance Dave has seen the industry grow from a back office support function into a career that is viewed as a strategic business partner. Dave is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served 4 years on active duty and 3 more in the active reserves. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business, is a Licensed Customs Broker, and is certified as both a U.S. Export Compliance Officer and ITAR Professional. Dave is very active in advocating for the Veteran community and is the Chair of the Oshkosh Corporation Military Network.
