Dan Ramish is counsel with Haynes and Boone, LLP. His practice encompasses all aspects of government procurement, federal assistance, and construction law, with special focus on claims and disputes, cost accounting, intellectual property, supply chain, cybersecurity, and small business issues. Mr. Ramish also advises on white collar matters involving government contracts and construction, including defending clients in False Claims Act investigations and lawsuits.
Prior to going into private practice, Mr. Ramish was in-house government contracts counsel for an ENR Top 100 Environmental contractor. He started his career as a Contract Specialist at the U.S. General Services Administration, administering Federal Supply Schedule contracts for the Office of IT Acquisition (former Schedule 70).
Mr. Ramish is a co-chair of the ABA Public Contract Law Section Subcontracting, Teaming, and Supply Chain Committee and a vice-chair of the Small Business & Other Socioeconomic Programs Committee. He teaches Cost Allowability for Federal Publication Seminars and co-authors an annual Cost and Pricing case review for The Government Contractor. He is also a co-author (with Jonathan Shaffer) of Federal Grant Practice (Thomson Reuters 2022 ed.).
