Candace Kronholm
Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, RTX
Candace has been at RTX for 22 years and currently serves as Vice President, Global Ethics & Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer of RTX. Before moving to this position almost two years ago, Candace was General Counsel of Pratt & Whitney. Leading up to her time at P&W, she was Deputy General Counsel of Collins, and prior to that served in various roles in the Corporate, legacy Collins, and commercial UTC businesses – including Carrier HVAC, Otis elevators and UTC Fire & Security – as well as the UTC Power and UTC Fuel Cell businesses.
Before coming to RTX, Candace worked at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City, supporting transactions for clients around the globe, including securities transactions, mergers & acquisitions, commercial banking, and leveraged lease financing. Candace serves on the board of the Greater Hartford Legal Aid Foundation, and has also served on the board of the Pro Bono Partnership.
Before moving to private law practice, Candace was law clerk to then-Chief Judge Tauro of the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Candace graduated with her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of law, summa cum laude, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Minnesota, summa cum laude.
Candace grew up on a farm in rural Minnesota with her parents and four siblings, and now lives in Connecticut with her husband and 16- and 11-year-old daughters — her daily reminders of the importance of striving, always, to do the right thing.
